Read the current information bulletin for the accepted undergraduate qualification and any programme-specific experience conditions. Distinguish eligibility to sit an assessment from eligibility for admission. A qualifying score does not remove separate programme prerequisites, document checks or selection stages.
Preparation and planning
Balance quantitative reasoning, reading and analytical practice with preparation for any institute interview or written stage.
Use a checklist made from the current official syllabus or admission notice. Practise with an appropriate format and record mistakes by concept, not only by score. For counselling-only routes, focus on course research, document preparation and preference ordering rather than treating the process as another examination.
How to interpret outcomes
Compare overall and sectional scores, institute criteria and selection stages. Previous results and closing scores give context but do not establish the outcome of a new cycle. Seat availability, applicant choices and institutional policies can change. Check whether the published measure is a rank, raw score or percentile before comparing values.
